Charles Hawthorne is a visionary storyteller and the founder of Regeneration Productions, a production company that merges faith with creativity and innovation. Born with a passion for unique storytelling, Charles embarked on his creative journey from a young age, and his dedication to pushing creative boundaries in faith-based content led to the establishment of Regeneration Productions in 2020.

At the heart of Regeneration Productions is a commitment to real, raw, and relatable storytelling. Charles envisions narratives that inspire, uplift, and entertain audiences of all backgrounds. His roots in the church community have fueled his desire to tell authentic stories that resonate with believers, blending the spiritual with the visual in a compelling manner.

Charles's journey into the world of content creation began in 2007 when he started making YouTube videos, initially focusing on reactions and reviews. His genuine passion and talent caught the attention of notable figures in the faith and entertainment spheres, including The Walls Group, Andy Mineo, 116 Clique, James Fortune, and more.

In 2019, fueled by a vision to create impactful narratives, Charles took the leap to establish his own production company, and in 2020, after graduating with his B.S. in Digital Media from Eastern Michigan University, Regeneration Productions became a reality. Since then, Charles has demonstrated his versatility and skill as a videographer, working with celebrities such as Naturi Naughton, Garcelle Beauvais, and Raven-Symone. His work has also been featured in prestigious publications like Harper's Bazaar, Contrast Magazine, and Ellements Magazine.

As a testament to his storytelling prowess, Charles produced his first scripted short film titled "The Origin of Understanding” in 2022 and his second one, “Nomad” in 2024. Despite limited resources, he used his creativity and determination to lay the foundation for something extraordinary.

Charles draws inspiration from trailblazing figures in the industry, including Issa Rae, Donald Glover, Spike Lee, Ava DuVernay, Barry Jenkins, Jordan Peele, Tyler Perry, and more. Through Regeneration Productions, Charles Hawthorne continues to leave an indelible mark on the world of faith-based storytelling, aiming to create content that resonates with diverse audiences and stands the test of time.
